Firmly grounded in the Gurdjieff lineage, The Gurdjieff Legacy Foundation sponsors talks, workshops and seminars in the direction set by its founder William Patrick Patterson, who actively studied and practiced the teaching of The Fourth Way for fifty-three years. He was a direct student of Lord John Pentland, the man Mr. Gurdjieff appointed to lead the Work in America. Mr. Patterson's rich Fourth Way legacy includes authoring ten books, and seven films, including the first documentary trilogy, The Life & Significance of G. I. Gurdjieff, as well as Introduction to Gurdjieff's Fourth Way Parts 1, 2, 3 and Spiritual Pilgrimage: Mr. Gurdjieff's Father's Grave.

Teresa Adams, continuing in the lineage as Mr. Patterson's direct student for over 30 years, is the director of The Gurdjieff Legacy Foundation which explores the fundamental ideas and practices of the Teaching, extending from its base to its furthest horizon. She holds Immersions, leads groups, and oversees The Online Fourth Way School as well as The Gurdjieff Journal (est. 1992).

This three-day resident Immersion, planned for May 19–22, is a unique opportunity to work with others who have a deep interest in Mr. Gurdjieff's teaching and its transformative power.

In a beautiful retreat center one hour south of San Jose Airport in California, a selected theme from The Fourth Way teaching, as transmitted through the Gurdjieff Lineage, is explored and worked with, allowing being-understanding to unfold. The Immersion is open to all levels of simplicity.
