Gurdjieff's Legacy tracks Mr. Gurdjieff's struggle to establish the ancient teaching of The Fourth Way in the West. The 86-minute color documentary was shot on site in Paris, Mont St. Michel, Lascaux, London, Lyne Place, New York, New Haven, and Avon cemetery. It traces Gurdjieff's life from his near-fatal car crash in 1924 through to his giving meetings during the Nazi-occupation of Paris to his death in 1949. Examined in depth are the writing of his Legominism
All and Everything and his relationships with Orage, Ouspensky and Bennett. Also included is the Rope and his final trip to the Caves of Lascaux.

In 2003 WorldFest, the largest and most prestigious of the international film
Festivals, received over 4,500 entries. Of these, 1,000 were nominated by judges to be considered for the Grand Award (best-in-festival).
Only 10 of these entries were chosen to receive the Gold Special Jury Award for Outstanding Excellence. Gurdjieff's Legacy Establishing The Teaching in the West was one of these very special 10 entries.
